Ms. Luoto is the music teacher and an avid home gardener.  She focuses on finding plants that can acclimate to the intense heat of the valley.  She grows persian cucumbers, a variety of peas, mulberries, spinach, and kale.  She's always game to try it out and see if it'll grow!

Mrs. Bauer is the librarian and loves to garden.  She grows peppers, dragon fruit cactus, goji berries, citrus, and milkweed.(Great for monarch butterflies!) She wants everyone to remember that gardening is a learning experience, your first garden is your worst garden.
