Bell Schedules
Stay updated with your child's school day by easily accessing our bell schedules. Knowing the daily timings for classes, breaks, and dismissal will help ensure a smooth transition back to school and keep everyone on track for a successful year. Find your school's specific bell schedule here!

School Supplies
All essential school supplies are provided by the school site. However, a child's teacher may ask for specific supply donations once school starts for anyone interested. Many students elect to bring backpacks to carry their belongings to/from school and water bottles. Information regarding secondary school supply lists will be communicated by individual schools if applicable.

Stay Connected: ParentVUE & ParentSquare
We believe strong communication between school and home is key to student success. PSUSD utilizes two primary platforms to keep you informed:-
ParentVUE: Your Student's Academic HubAs a PSUSD parent or guardian, you have the capability to monitor your student's progress throughout the school year. ParentVUE gives you access to view real-time academic information through a private and secure portal, no matter where you are or the type of device you are using. This includes grades, attendance, assignments, and more.

ParentSquare: District-Wide CommunicationWe use ParentSquare at all of our school sites to share timely information from teachers, principals, and district administrators with students and parents. This platform is used for important announcements, school-wide events, classroom updates, and direct communication with school staff.

Construction Updates for drop off and pick up
Do you know if your student's school site has ongoing construction projects?

Transportation
We are excited to announce that PSUSD is partnering with a new transportation company for the upcoming school year Palm Springs Unified School District contracts with Zum Services, a private company, for school bus transportation. Bus stops and routes are cooperatively planned by Zum Services and the District. This change aims to provide reliable and efficient transportation services for our eligible students.
All the 2024/25 school year General Education bus stops will remain unchanged for the 2025/26 school year.

Lunch Menu
As you get ready for the new school year, here's a friendly reminder about the Palm Springs Unified School District's commitment to ensuring every student has access to nutritious meals.
Through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) of the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Program, the Palm Springs Unified School District provides nutritious meals to ALL District students at no cost, regardless of income. This program helps ensure that every child can enjoy healthy breakfasts and lunches throughout the school year.

Chromebooks
All TK-2nd grade students will have access to a Chromebook during the school day that remains at school.
Students in 3rd-12th grade will have 1:1 access with a Chromebook to use daily at school and at home to complete school assignments.
If you experience any problems with your Chromebook, please visit the school librarian for assistance.

Wi-Fi Hotspots
If your student does not have Wi-Fi access at home, you may be eligible to request a hotspot for educational purposes. To do so, a parent or legal guardian must visit the school to complete a request form.

Enrollment & Registration
New to PSUSD or need to re-enroll?
Find all the necessary forms and information to get your child registered for the upcoming school year.
Student Transfer
PSUSD operates as an open-enrollment district, allowing you to request transfers to any school (excluding Mt. San Jacinto HS or schools at capacity). Approvals are based on space availability and determined by a lottery system.

Immunization Requirements
Immunization Requirements: No Shots? No School.
To ensure the health and safety of all students, up-to-date immunizations are required for enrollment.Children will not be enrolled unless an immunization record is presented and immunizations are up-to-date. If your child is unimmunized due to medical reasons, please notify us.

TDAP Vaccine Clinics - July 2025
TDAP vaccine clinics are happening now! All students entering 7th through 12th grade are required to show proof of a TDAP booster vaccine before starting the school year. No appointment is necessary to receive the vaccine.

Early Head Start, Head Start and State Pre-School
Looking for free early learning programs for your child? PSUSD’s Early Childhood Education programs are now accepting applications for the upcoming school year!We offer Early Head Start, Head Start, and State Preschool for children ages 2 to 5 all at no cost to families.For more info, call 760-883-2703 ext. 1

Submit your student's insurance information
Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative
As part of the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI), we are collecting medical insurance information for students to improve access to mental and behavioral health services. Providing your insurance information allows the district to ensure students have access to the care and support they need. All information is protected under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA). Providing your student's insurance information will not impact your student's insurance coverage or eligibility for the services. The district will never require a co-payment or deductible to bill your insurance for any services provided at school.

The Palm Springs Unified School District is excited to welcome our new Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Marcus Funchess, who joined us on July 1st. Dr. Funchess brings a history of improving scholar's achievement, building strong relationships with staff, parents, and community members, and focusing on the support of our scholars.
