The faculties of our public schools are symphonies of talent working in a multitude of disciplines. Many instructors practice what they teach every day because they love it. That passion reveals itself in this selection of visual and performing artworks. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, arts educators in the Palm Springs Unified School District found new ways to reach their students and demonstrate the power of the arts to communicate, heal, and inspire. Their musical performances ranging from pop to classical and paintings, drawings, and photographs, both representational and abstract, instill great confidence that the young people of Cathedral City, Desert Hot Springs, Palm Springs, and Rancho Mirage have bright sources of inspiration for their own creativity and innovation. It’s exciting to share their work — and their joy — in this presentation.
