- Planning and oversight of construction of new school facilities and modernization of existing facilities
- Select school sites for consideration and negotiate property purchases
- Administer agreements for new school construction, school modernization and small construction projects
- Responsible for budgeting, monitoring and reporting expenditures to local and State agencies
- Coordinate the preparation of the Facilities Master Plan and School Facilities Needs Analysis
- Maintain and update street, attendance boundaries, maps and the “Find My School” website
- Review Minor Capital Project requests
- Review Space Allocation Committee requests from schools and departments for relocation of existing programs within existing facilities
