District Arts Office Artist In Residence - Piper Scott - Joy of Art Program 2021 - Current

Piper Scott is a professional artist currently living in Cathedral City, CA. She holds a B.F.A. from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. Currently, she is Vice Chairman of the Cathedral City Public Arts Committee and a member of the local Rotary Club. Through the Cathedral City Evening Rotary, she teaches art techniques to adults in local venues. Her art sells through galleries, social media, referrals and commissioned sales. Through PSUSD, she is an Artist in Residency and works with children K - 8th grade. Her love for art, teaching and children has led her to a long-time goal of working with PSUSD students and instructing art history and art techniques through the "Joy of Art" program and STAAR.
